Consultant Solicitor
Averil is from Chepstow. She gained a History Degree at Leeds University before qualifying as a solicitor. She was articled for Gilbert Robertson & Co in Cardiff before moving to Laytons in Bristol.
In 1979 Averil set up her own firm in Caldicott where, in addition to her management role, she specialised in property and probate work.
She retired from the firm in 2005 and worked as a locum before joining the firm where she now specialises in property, estate planning, Wills and Probate. Averil is currently Treasurer of the Monmouthshire Law Society and currently works part time with the firm.
In her spare time she likes to sail and is a RYA Yachtmaster.
